Jon Hallin, Director of Customer Programs

Jon Hallin has been in the container terminal business since 1996, starting as a vessel planner for 5 years in many ports on the West Coast of the US. Jon then worked in various capacities in Professional Services and spent 4 years working for Yusen Terminals in the Port of Los Angeles. Following 9 years as a Product Manager for N4, Jon now leads the Customer Sponsorship Program, overseeing user groups, collaboration, and customer advocacy. Jon’s been the lead on the SOLAS initiative since late 2015.

Sabina Ahmed, Senior Engineering Manager

Sabina Ahmed has been with Navis since 2003. She joined the company as a Senior Software Engineer for the Navis Yard solution and since then worked on many different TOS features as a Technical Lead and Engineering Manager. She currently manages the product development team in Chennai, India and owns the development responsibilities for EDI, Gate, Billing, CAP and Business Intelligence. Prior to joining Navis, Sabina worked at i2 Technologies as a technical lead developing their E-procurement and workflow management software and at couple of different startups. Sabina has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from India and has presented at technical conferences over the last couple of decades.

Peter Charron, VP of Sustaining Engineering

Peter Charron has been designing and building cargo terminal operating systems for over 25 years. Peter will soon celebrate his 24th anniversary with Navis where he had a leading role in the design of Express and SPARCS N4, the two totally dominating solutions for cargo terminal operations around the world. He is recognized in our industry as a leading expert in Terminal Operations and Enterprise Application Design. Peter earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Syracuse University and a Masters in Mathematics from Arizona State University. In 2015, Peter was named Alumni of the Year in Mathematics by the ASU College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
